These past few weeks have been a whirlwind! We returned from Breck on a Sunday, and I started my new job that Monday. So for two weeks, it's been nonstop working on getting ready for the teachers and kids to return to school.
Finally, things are slowing down, and I just realized I didn't share any pictures from our trip to Breckenridge, CO. Breckenridge is very special to my family. We go there every year during Christmas and started a new tradition to visit during the summer too!
For Southerners, I highly recommend visiting to get a break from the heat and enjoy the outdoors! Of course, I wish the pictures were as good as the real thing, but I hope to give you a glimpse of how beautiful Colorado is and what a wonderful get-a-way it is for your family.
Pine Ridge Condos
Pine Ridge is the condos of our choice. These definitely are not the newest or grandest condos, but the location is fabulous. There is a bus that takes you to the lifts in the winter, you can ski down the Four O'clock run straight to the condo, and it's only a block from downtown. Also, during the summer, there are several hiking trails you can walk to from the condo. You can't get any better than that!
Epic Discovery
You can take a gondola to Epic Discovery where there are mountain rollers coasters, mountain slides, rock climbing, mountain biking, and hiking.
I absolutely LOVED having my mom with us on this trip!
