Begin by evenly coating the salmon with the pork rub, salt, and pepper on both sides. Tap it in gently with your fingers to ensure that the seasoning stays on.
After prepping the salmon, start the butter sauce by melting 4 tablespoons of butter in searing pan with lemon juice, capers, and garlic. Let it melt together and turn to low heat.
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a separate searing pan. Sear the salmon on both sides at medium-high heat. Approximately 2-3 minutes per side. Let it melt together and turn to low heat.
Transfer the seared salmon over to the pan with the melted garlic caper sauce. Spoon the sauce over the top of the salmon. Cover and cook at low heat for 10-12 minutes.
